Teen Tour Adventures

Our Staff

The TTA staff is comprised of caring and energetic educators whose most endearing qualitiy is their true desire to have a rewarding and fun summer with our teens. There will always be a ratio of at least 1 adult for every 8 teens.

Robert and his staff all lead tours. Tour leaders must be at least 25 years old and have extensive experience working with teens – either as teachers, coaches or advisors in a school environment. Each tour leader is selected early in the year, so that you may be introduced to your tour leader prior to the beginning of your tour.

Tour leaders are supported by counselors who are at least 23 years old and the overwhelming majority have worked in the fields of education and recreation.

Those who are accepted as TTA staff go through a rigorous interview process, have consistently outstanding references and have passed a comprehensive background check.

Robert personally trains all staff during an extensive orientation, which emphasizes team building, problem solving and procedures for maintaining the health, safety and security of our teens. At least one member of the TTA staff on every trip is certified by the American Red Cross in basic first aid and C.P.R.
